This is your access to international features and documentaries curated by Tonya Mantooth, San Diego International Film Festival CEO/Artistic Director. In keeping with the Festival’s mission, selected films will provide perspectives designed to start conversations on topics that illuminate our shared humanity. Each month will showcase a feature film or documentary and a short, as well as a Q&A or Panel with the Filmmakers and/or other influentials. Films will debut online the third Thursday in the Festival’s Virtual Village.

Conch Shell Int’l Film Fest (CSIFF) is an online festival which celebrates short films written an directed by indie artists from the multilingual nations of the Caribbean and the Caribbean Diaspora.  CSIFF is presented by New York City-based, Conch Shell Productions. The festival aims to support all the filmmakers all over the world, give them the chance to screen their films in London and Egypt as well, also the best films will be considered to take part in other festivals in Europe and the Middle East as well.

Trapped Film Festival

May 21st – May 24th 2021 

Trapped Film Festival was born from the climate of the pandemic that caused a worldwide quarantine. The main purpose of the festival is uplifting the filmmaking world, while highlighting and showcasing independent filmmakers, and providing captivating content to the general public. The festival is independent filmmaker focused, so early and regular submissions are at no cost to the filmmaker.

Trapped Film Festival is owned and operated by filmmakers Tiffany Ashley Turner and Kevin Wilson. They decided to create a completely online platform for filmmakers to showcase their talent and participate in a socially distant safe film festival.

“The films of the Wild & Scenic Festival this year combine beautiful cinematography and first-rate storytelling,” said Mark Medeiros, senior manager of community engagement at POST. “For this year’s presentation, we’ve selected works that we believe will inspire Bay Area film and nature fans to find ways to get involved and make a difference.”

Pet Film Festival

June 10th – 14th 2021

The Pet Film Festival Tepoztlan is a celebration of love between pets and their people and shelters that support them. A local shelter will receive a portion of donations received in exchange for tickets in each city visited.
